For Easter this year, Jenn and I both had the same idea- a surprise Easter Egg hunt. Jenn worked on Easter, so she hid the eggs before she left. She did an excellent job hiding because I didn't even know I had an Easter Egg hunt until she called me later that morning and asked if I had fun finding the eggs! So I still had trouble finding 2 of the 12 eggs she hid, but I feel that my searching skills have improved over the years. I earned all those pieces of chocolate.
For Jenn's Easter Egg hunt, I hid her eggs around our backyard while she was at work. She was so excited to start finding her eggs that she went straight outside to find them (even though it was dark). She had a lot of trouble finding most of the eggs. It's probably because it was dark out but now I'm thinking that maybe she went out at night on purpose so that she would have an excuse when she couldn't find them. She's sneaky like that. In her eggs I put little pieces of chocolate which she may have to break up or melt a little as she had a gum graft recently and still can't bite down on foods. I also gave her a homemade puzzle which each piece has a coupon for things like "1 day of no video games" or "movie night to a chick flick". So she enjoyed her egg hunt and her prizes as well. Tomorrow we get to head to Asheville and have a little mini vacation!
