Mavis and Will's Wedding

Mavis and Will got married on Sunday, July 11th in Charlotte. Jenn was chosen to be one of the bridesmaids along with our friend Christine and Mavis' sister Janice (I was responsible for video taping the ceremony...I hope it turned out okay). It was a beautiful outdoor wedding and due to the breeze, was not too hot either. Immediately after was a great reception at the Hilton. Jenn and I are both very happy for our friends and hope that their life will be full of nothing but bliss.

Jenn's parents visit

Jenn's parents came down for a few days to visit at the end of June. It was nice seeing them again. We spent a day at the whitewater center doing some rockclimbing, white water rafting, mountain biking, kayaking, and adventure coursing. We also put Jenn's dad to work installing a range over our new stove and fixing our back deck. Jenn and I are both looking forward to a few years from now when we live closer to family so these visits won't be so far and in between.
